Exciting opportunity to join our team working remotely, to develop your marketing career in the environment and sustainability sector.

Environment Analyst is a B2B publishing, events and membership business in the environmental and sustainability sector. We have a growing membership community of environmental and sustainability advisory firms, who use our respected market intelligence reports, datasets and news to inform their business strategies. We also bring together environmental business leaders and practitioners to discuss business opportunities and challenges, through our events and peer-to-peer networks.

In your role, you will be working with our Marketing Manager on multi-channel marketing campaigns, across our membership and events business. You will need to be highly organised, and able to work on multiple ongoing campaigns. Excellent copywriting and communication skills are also essential, as well as strong interpersonal skills, as you will be working with colleagues in roles including editorial, events and sales.

Main activities:

You will be assisting with inbound and outbound marketing across our membership, editorial and event campaigns. Your main activities will be:

  • Email and website copywriting
  • Producing social media content and helping to run our social media accounts
  • Creating and marketing content pieces
  • Maintaining and updating website
  • Reporting on and analysing the success of marketing campaigns
  • Updating relevant databases and helping to manage our CRM system (Hubspot)
  • Devising and implementing innovative marketing concepts, to help grow our marketing reach
  • Designing creatives, such as digital banners, advertisements and printed event materials
  • Building and maintaining relationships with media partners

Required experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a marketing role

Required skills:

  • Highly organised with exceptional time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with CRM platforms, such as Hubspot
  • Ability to work across numerous ongoing campaigns and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently where necessary
  • Analytical skills, with good attention to detail
  • Ambitious and dedicated team-player, committed to helping us achieve our business aims

Desirable skills:

  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat)
  • Knowledge of website management and development systems, such as Wix
